Following her honorary degree ceremony at the University of Toronto on November 1, Corkin will sit down with Brandon Kaufman to reflect on the iconic photographs that defined her career — and the stories behind them.
Jane Corkin is recognized as a visionary in the art world, known for fostering cultural conversations in Canada and beyond. Her influence on photography is particularly significant, helping to elevate awareness of the medium as an art form.
Brandon Kaufman is a filmmaker and writer based in Toronto. His short films have screened at festivals across North America, and his art and film criticism have appeared in Artforum, Frieze, the Guardian, MUBI Notebook and the Toronto Star, among others.
