21st Century Geoeconomics: Geopolitics, Trade, and Artificial Intelligence

by

Professor Janice Stein
Founding Director, Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy
Belzberg Professor of Conflict Management, Department of Political Science, University of Toronto

Economics and security are now joined in ways that are creating new challenges and contradictions. Trade decisions have security consequences and artificial intelligence has major implications for economics and security.

Join us for a presentation by Professor Janice Stein to explore how trade policy and AI are fusing economics and security into a new architecture—"geoeconomics”—that will define the next two decades for Canada.
