As part of Alumni Reunion Weekend, the Cinema Studies Institute presents a 50th anniversary reunion brunch and a panel discussion on The Toronto New Wave with esteemed filmmakers John Greyson, Srinivas Krishna, Ron Mann, and Clement Virgo.

Starting in the 1980s, a group of enterprising filmmakers put Toronto on the cinematic map with a series of fresh and innovative works that earned the label of the Toronto New Wave. Their films collectively heralded the arrival of new and exciting voices in Canadian cinema.
