Join Shant Kaltakjian (BBA ‘04 UTSC), Managing Partner & Broker at DLC Mortgage Watch Inc., as he shares essential tips and strategies for first-time homeowners. Whether you are ready to dive in, are still exploring options, or are just starting to save up for your first down-payment, this engaging webinar is for you. Shant will cover everything from navigating the market, budgeting wisely, financing options and key steps in the buying process, to help you gain the confidence and knowledge you need to make informed decisions and unlock the door to your first home! 

Shant is a Managing Partner and Broker at Dominion Lending Centres (DLC) Mortgage Watch Inc., an independently owned franchise of Dominion Lending Centres. Since 2007, Shant has provided his clients with the education and guidance to help them make strategic borrowing decisions. 

Prior to DLC Mortgage Watch Inc., Shant worked for a large Financial Institution where he helped a portfolio of high-net-worth clients with their borrowing and investment decisions. 

 Over the last 17 years, Shant has helped over 1000+ clients achieve their dream of homeownership. He has also helped his clients build wealth through investment in rental properties. He is a believer in real estate as a key component to building long-term wealth and retirement strategy. Shant ensures his clients are routinely reviewing their mortgage plans to help them reach their financial goals safely and efficiently. 

Shant holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Toronto. He has volunteered with the Toronto District School Board helping students with Career Days and their Daily Breakfast Program. He has also worked with the MLSE Foundation with the kids up front charity - an initiative to help underprivileged kids have a chance to experience MLSE team games. 

Shant is married with two children and lives an active lifestyle in the East End of Toronto.
