Ever thought about joining a Board but didn't know where to start? Join Prof. Richard Powers in Vancouver for a special in-person session on April 23 to cover the what, how and when’s of joining a Board of Directors.
This interactive session will explore the role of a Board, and particularly, the role of a Board Director in today’s ever-changing business world. You will learn:
· What skill sets are Boards looking for?
· How to do you position yourself for Board roles?
· When is the best time to apply, and where?
This interactive evening session will utilize short case studies to give you a sense of Board work, followed by a time to network with fellow Vancouver-based alumni at the end of the session.
Why Register? This session will provide insights and practical answers to questions, both for those already on a Board and wanting to improve their work, as well as those who are fascinated by Boards but unsure when or where to start
