Join authors Harrison Browne and Rachel Browne for a compelling conversation moderated by Terry Gardiner (Director, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, KPE) on Let Us Play.
Presented by the Faculty of Kinesiology & Physical Education (KPE) and the Faculty of Arts & Science (A&S), alumni are invited to an inspiring in-person event on Thursday, October 16 at U of T’s St. George campus. Join authors Harrison Browne and Rachel Browne for a compelling conversation moderated by Terry Gardiner (Director, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, KPE) on Let Us Play. This book explores the fight for inclusion of trans and non-binary athletes in sport, drawing from Harrison’s lived experience and Rachel’s investigative reporting to challenge myths and misinformation around gender diversity in athletics.
Doors open at 6:30pm, with the U of T Bookstore on-site selling copies of Let Us Play. The discussion begins at 7pm, followed by a Q&A and book signing. Venue details will be shared with confirmed registrants closer to the date. Don’t miss this urgent and timely dialogue on justice, identity, and the future of sport.
Note: This event will also be live-streamed and a recording will be made available to registrants after the event.
