U of T alumni and friends are cordially invited to the 2025 Canada-in-Asia Conference, organized by the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada and Universities Canada.
This annual conference serves as a key event for individuals, businesses, and institutions connected to Canada in Asia. It will take place in Singapore from February 19 to 21, 2025. Over 700 international participants will gather for two days at the Fairmont Singapore’s Raffles City Convention Centre, fostering connections among Asia-based Canadian university alumni and prominent figures in the Canada-Asia business and innovation sectors.
CIAC2025 gathers business leaders, experts, investors, policymakers, researchers, and innovators from Asia and Canada to exchange ideas and facilitate collaborative partnerships.
The conference program features keynote speakers, interdisciplinary plenary sessions, concurrent thematic activities focused on key sectors, strategic networking opportunities, and an evening gala. Additionally, participating universities and organizations, including U of T, will host various activities for their respective communities

The University of Toronto invites alumni attending the conference to a special dinner on the evening of February 19, hosted by Prof. Joe Wong and Barbara Dick, Assistant Vice-President, Alumni Relations. Further details will be provided to alumni conference attendees. If you can't make it to the dinner, we look forward to connecting with you at the conference, where you can find U of T branded merchandise.
You can also take advantage of an exclusive room block at the Swissôtel The Stamford, which adjoins the Raffles City Convention Centre.
