Become one of the U of T and UBC Dragon Boat team paddlers.
The University of Toronto Alumni Association (Hong Kong) is recruiting new members for the U of T and UBC Joint Alumni Dragon Boat Team!
The U of T and UBC Joint Alumni Dragon Boat Team has been competing at Stanley Beach for over 20 years. This year, the Stanley International Dragon Boat Championship 2025 will take place on Saturday, May 31, 2025. As space on the team is limited, priority will be given to U of T and UBC alumni, as well as returning paddlers. Placement on the mixed team and final race roster will be based on your level of fitness, experience, and expected attendance for the season.
Practice will begin on Sunday, March 16, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
The registration fee is approximately HK$1,200 per person, which includes race registration, practice fees, team uniforms, and more.
You can also join a free trial session on Sunday, March 2, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, led by a professional coach, at the Stanley Main Beach. Please register for the free trial session via this link.
