Join the U of T and UBC dragon boat team to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival.
The University of Toronto Alumni Association (Hong Kong) is recruiting members for the U of T and UBC Joint Alumni Dragon Boat Team!
The U of T and UBC Joint Alumni Dragon Boat Team has signed up for one mixed-category boat for the Stanley International Dragon Boat Championship 2026, which will take place on Friday, June 19, 2026. As space on the team is limited, priority will be given to U of T and UBC alumni, as well as returning paddlers. Placement on the mixed team and final race roster will be based on your paddling experience and expected attendance throughout the season.
Practice will begin on Sunday, March 29, 2026, from 1:15 PM to 3:15 PM, and will continue on most Sundays from April through June, leading up to race day.
The registration fee is HK$1,200 per person for U of T alumni and HK$ 1,300 for non-U of T alumni. The fee includes race registration, practice fees, team uniforms, and more.
