Part of the symposium Leading with Landscape, the exhibit, opening on Oct. 1 in the Larry Wayne Richards Gallery, showcases Toronto’s waterfront parks and public realm projects in thematic and typological clusters. It underscores the value of these investments to the public. The exhibit serves as the intellectual foundation and prompt for the conference’s keynote conversations and panel discussions.

Exhibit opening: Thursday, October 1 at 5:15 p.m. followed by a keynote in the Daniels Building Main Hall (DA170) at 6:30 p.m.

The exhibit will remain on view until November 10 and can be viewed during Daniels Building hours.

This exhibition is generously supported by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), University of Toronto's School of Cities, the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects (OALA), the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CSLA), Autodesk, DIALOG, DTAH, Eastern Construction Company Limited, ERA Architects, O2 Design and AZURE Magazine.

This exhibit is part of Understories the John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design Fall 2026 Public Program.
