Join Ute Aurand and Robert Beavers in person for a two-day program of screenings and discussion exploring affinities between cinema and architecture through their work.

Partners of twenty years and two of experimental cinema's most distinctive voices, Aurand and Beavers have rarely had their films presented in dialogue. "The Architectural Metaphor" (Oct. 5) focuses on urban architectural space, ornament and construction, while "At Home" (Oct. 6) explores domestic space and interior life. Each screening will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A.

Presented by U of T’s John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design, Cinema Studies Institute, and Innis College.
