Join us for Dwaihwaohe:s Tgaǫ́do'geh, a two-day gathering that marks the launch of the new Indigenous Artist Residency, (Un)Mapping the Territory, in collaboration with Hart House and the Art Museum at the University of Toronto.

Hosted by the Akni:ho’gwa:s Artist Collective—comprised of Courtney Skye and Jeff Doctor—this gathering invites participants to reimagine the University’s histories, land and community through an Indigenous lens.
You’ll have the rare opportunity to view The Dish (With One Spoon) Wampum Belt and the Crown's Promise Wampum Belt in person. This event will feature presentations by Hereditary Chief Dehatgahdohs Cleveland Thomas (Onondaga Beaver Clan) and Hohahes Leroy "Jock" Hill (Secretary of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy Chiefs Council). Additionally, there will be thought-provoking panels and workshops on treaty-making, governance, the digital realm (“Digital Dish”) and climate futures.
