Cities around the world are investing heavily in infrastructure mega-projects to stimulate economic productivity, job growth, environmental sustainability and engagement in society for all. Yet mega-projects are often vastly over-budget and behind schedule, putting vital projects at risk and stretching public confidence to its limits. Prof. Siemiatycki's talk explores the causes of cost overruns and the solutions that have proven to reduce them.
