March 16th - The Young People's Theatre March Break Drama Workshop

On March 16th & March 17th the Young Peoples Theatre will be hosting a live dramatic workshop for families. Hosted by Artist Educator Marina Gomes.

Join us for a morning of fun filled drama activities led by Marina Gomes, an Artist Educator with the Young People's Theatre! It's an online hour of theatre games and improv, with a few health tips thrown in!

This workshop is suitable for children 10 and under, but all children are welcome.

Once families have completed the registration process, a link to the event will be sent via a confirmation email.


Marina Gomes Artist Educator Born in Toronto, Marina Gomes is an artist who aspires to create work that is innovative, thought provoking, and entertaining.  Marina is currently a student at OISE, finishing the Master of Teaching program and a graduate of the University of Windsor BFA-Acting program. Marina is excited by physical theatre and how to use theatre in experimental ways to create community. She feels fortunate to combine her passion for theatre and love of learning in her work as an Artist Educator with Young People’s Theatre, SoulPepper and independently throughout the GTA. Selected acting credits include: Lexi in “Lexi and the Flying B’s (Toronto Fringe), Nora in “If the Shoe Fits” (Alumnae Theatre) and Tara in “Eraser” (Eraser Theatre) where she was nominated for Outstanding New Play, Outstanding Production, and Outstanding Ensemble for the 2019 Dora Mavor Moore Awards, and most recently Tara in “Eraser: a New Normal” (Theatre Direct).
