Starting February 1, for Black History Month, the Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education invites you to participate in Black History Here & Now, a self-guided, virtual tour of the Athletic Centre and Varsity Arena, to learn about the history and experiences of Black Canadians in sport and physical activity. Look out for QR codes at the Athletic Centre Varsity Pool, Field House, Dance Studio, Lower Gym, and Varsity Arena. The QR codes at each location will guide you to a digital resource where you can learn more about the experiences of Black Canadians connected with the activities happening in our sport and recreation spaces. Uncover the experiences of Black Canadians in sport and physical activity in person or online at uoft.me/kpeblackhistorytour.
