2008 Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award Recipients

The 2007 Vice-Chair of Finance for the New College Orientation Committee, Smita Saxena helped manage a budget of $90,000 and a team of close to a hundred student volunteers. The specialist in mathematics, applications in finance and economics is also President of the U of T Business Plan Competition, which promotes entrepreneurship and leadership among undergraduate and graduate students across Canada. Smita has also taken on the responsibilities of Producer of New College's New Faces Drama Troupe.
