Linda Liu
LINDA LIU – UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO FINANCE ALUMNI NETWORK
Linda is a Senior Actuarial Analyst of the Actuarial Consulting Group at Sun Life Financial where she interacts with various actuarial functions and works on special projects to help businesses move forward. Linda has been with Sun Life for 2 years and prior to her current role, she worked as a pricing actuary in Defined Benefit Solutions, providing innovative pension de-risking strategies for some of Canada’s biggest employers. She was also instrumental in the first North America longevity insurance transaction with BCE Inc. ($5 billion of liabilities).
Linda graduated with Honours Bachelor degree of Science from the Actuarial Science and Statistics program at U of T. She was actively involved with various student committees while in school including AIESEC Toronto, Rational Capital Investment Fund, and U of T Actuarial Science Club. Linda was the U of T Delegate at the Actuarial Students National Association (ASNA) and served on the Executives team from 2012 – 2013.
