Haipeng Tian
HAIPENG TIAN – UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO FINANCE ALUMNI NETWORK
Haipeng is a Treasury Dealer of China Construction Bank in Toronto where he provides liquidity to the Bank through ForEx, Money Market and Fixed Income trades. In this capacity, he also promotes the Renminbi Qualified Foreign Institutional Investor (RQFII) Program in Canada. Prior to China Construction Bank, Haipeng was a Fixed Income Analyst at CIBC World Markets Inc., where he acted as the subject matter expert in fixed income analytics and provided sales and traders with ideas through analytics platforms.
Haipeng earned a Master of Finance (MFin) from Queen’s University in 2014 and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance (Co-op) from University of Toronto in 2009. He served on the Board of Directors and the Chair of Standing Committee on Finance and Service for the Scarborough Campus Student Union (SCSU) 2005-2006.
