Last year marked the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. We will commemorate the occasion this spring with a two-part virtual lecture on the Canadian contribution to victory. Historian Nicholas Gunz will share the remarkable story of decorated paratrooper and U of T alumnus, Captain Jack Clancy. Then Richard Fiennes-Clinton, Soldiers’ Tower Committee Member, will discuss the vital role Torontonians played on the home front.
