2008 Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award Recipients

As President of U of T's Engineering Society, Alaina Lagrou single-handedly created a summer training program for the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering's 60 Orientation leaders. Alaina included a workshop on diversity and equity awareness, helping create a safe, inclusive environment for the diverse student body. The mechanical and industrial engineering student has also helped with the Society's charity events, initiated a committee to improve cafeteria services for engineering students and participated in a variety of intramural sports, including skydiving.
