2007 Arbor Award Recipients

Rickey Fitzerman is former a member of the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing Gala Committee. As a committee member, Rickey helped organize the faculty's first gala in 2004, held at the Royal York Hotel. The event raised $95,000 through silent auction, ticket sales and sponsorships. Rickey's involvement was inspired by the late philanthropist Bluma Appel who, following the SARS crisis, donated funds for a simulated isolation room that trains nurses in infectious disease management.
