Marian has demonstrated her dedication to Victoria University by providing legal guidance and advice, primarily related to the publishing of the Collected Works of Northrop Frye, a 30-volume set that took more than 20 years to complete. She also assisted with negotiations with publishers regarding material for inclusion in the Collected Works. In 2013, Marian began a new volunteer relationship as a Victoria representative on the College of Electors.
