Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award 2013 recipient
While at OISE, Cristina has served as co-chair of the Dean's Graduate Student Research Conference, and received high praise for her efforts to increase student participation to record levels in 2012.~While balancing the sometimes competing obligations of student and mother, Cristina promoted student involvement in community-based initiatives and helped obtain increased benefits, including more summer graduate assistantships for her fellow members of CUPE Local 3907.
