Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award 2013 recipient
Kate has been involved in leadership and teaching initiatives both within the Faculty of Nursing and in the community at-large. Kate has volunteered for a clinical teaching scholarship workshop and with programmes that promote better access to health care for marginalized populations. She has also been an active volunteer at the Hospital for Sick Children's Cystic Fibrosis parent teaching day, and a nurse for a camp for children affected by childhood cancer.
