As president of the Graduate Students Association of the Factor-Iwentash Faculty of Social Work, Cynda has worked to engage students and create a community of learning. Cynda has worked as a volunteer for Planned Parenthood, Amnesty International and AIDS outreach organizations in Vancouver and Ottawa.
