Owen Williams
Arbor Award 2007 recipient
Since 1991, retired Naval Lieutenant Owen Williams was a dedicated member of the Soldiers' Tower Committee. The Chair from 2004 to 2007, Owen oversaw the installation of eight new stained-glass windows in the tower, one of which he sponsored. His campaign to solicit military artifacts prompted an enthusiastic response from U of T alumni. The 1950 St. Michael's College graduate was a life member of Hart House and a member of the Presidents' Circle. Owen was also a dedicated and honoured member of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity.
