Jean F. Walker is the founding chair of the Graduate Department of Speech-Language Pathology. As a Professor Emerita, Jean has continued to enrich the department with her contribution to department fund raising initiatives, plans for the Department's 50th Anniversary Celebration in 2008, and completion of a comprehensive history of the first twenty five years of the program (1958–1983).
