In 2009 renowned soprano Isabel Bayrakdarian helped to plan and execute a musical event that engaged alumni from across the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering as well as the Skule Orchestra. Along with fellow Engineering Science graduate Julian Kuerti, a conductor, Isabel celebrated Engineering Science's 75th anniversary with an evening of music at Hart House Theatre.
