Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award 2012 recipient
A former chair and organizer of the Black History Month Showcase, Shalia has served on the Undergraduate Council of U of T Scarborough and worked as a Peer Academic Coach, winning an Employee of the Month citation for her enthusiastic work. She has also worked with youth offenders at the West Scarborough Neighbourhood Community Centre.
