Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award 2012 recipient
During her time at the Faculty of Dentistry, Alison founded Oral Health, Total Health, a federal non-profit organization with a mission to advocate, educate and improve the oral health of persons with special needs. She also initiated outreach days for Sharing Smiles, which has involved more than 200 undergraduate dental and hygiene students over the past three years and she is committed to developing Sharing Smiles Day programs at dental schools across Canada.
