Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award 2012 recipient
An extraordinary student and a leader in her community, Jothi is a remarkable ambassador for the Trudeau Centre. She co-founded the NGO BuildChange and she has been an instrumental member of Students for International Development and the Young Canadians Peace Dialogue on Sri Lanka. Jothi's work on behalf of Sri-Lankan issues brought young Tamil and Sinhalese Canadians together for constructive dialogue and she also submitted a policy paper on Sri Lankan development and reconciliation initiatives.
