Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award 2012 recipient
A committed member of the Social Work Graduate Student Association and Social Justice Committee, Melanie has organized numerous events advocating for the rights of Aboriginal people in Canada. Her passion for social justice also extends beyond U of T campus. She is a member of the Circle of Advisors for Canadian Roots, as well as a program facilitator for the Christie Refugee Welcome Centre.
