Jack Dimond

Arbor Award 2011 recipient

Jack Dimond, who served as an administrator at the University of Toronto for more than 30 years, has demonstrated his dedication to the Ludwik and Estelle Jus Memorial Human Rights Prize by serving as the volunteer Chair of the selection committee since the award's inception in 1995. The prize, made possible by an endowed gift from Dr. Karolina Jus, is granted annually to a faculty or staff member, or a student, who has made a positive contribution in the fight against discrimination. Jack still leads the committee despite having retired from U of T in 1999 and having made a recent move to the US.
