2011 Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award Recipients

Marina Freire-Gormaly is a member of the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering's Leaders of Tomorrow Working Group, as well as co-chair of the Nsight mentorship program. Marina helped pioneer a cyber-mentorship program between U of T and the Asian University for Women in Bangladesh, and she has been U of T chapter leader of Engineers Without Borders. She volunteers with many other groups, including Citizen Engineer, Women Empowered in Engineering and Women in Science and Engineering.
