Dr. Rose Dyson
Arbor Award 2010 recipient
Rose Dyson, who earned her doctorate at OISE in 1995, is chair of Canadians Concerned About Violence in Entertainment. She has remained connected with students and faculty with whom she worked on a number of peace education projects, and has served as vice-president of the OISE Alumni Association and has represented OISE on the College of Electors. For the last 15 years, Rose has been editor of The Learning Edge, a periodical for the Canadian Association for the Study of Adult Education to which OISE is a significant contributor.
