Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award 2010 recipient
When it comes to the environment, Trinity College student Jasmeet Sidhu is a person of both words and action. As a blogger for the Huffington Post and the Toronto Star, she has kept readers in the loop on climate change conferences, including the recent Copenhagen summit. Jasmeet was also among the initiators and developers of the Green Roof project at U of T, and is active in ReWire, the Trinity Environmental Club and the Environmental Protection Committee. In addition, she works with Students for International Development and the G8 Research Group.
