2010 Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award Recipients

Ali Okhowat has shown commitment to his fellow medical students and to social justice issues in the wider community. A past-president of the U of T Medical Society, Ali is co-president of the medical school's 4th-year class and held the same position in the 3rd-year class. Among many other contributions, Ali has established an organization dedicated to electronic medical records solutions in developing countries, helped plan a health law conference and founded the Public Health Interest Group at U of T.
