Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award 2010 recipient
Trinity College student May Jeong has developed a public profile with her work in environmental activism and education. She has filed reports for the Huffington Post from December's UN climate change summit in Copenhagen, where she was a U of T student delegate, and for the Toronto Star from the 2007 UN climate meeting in Bali, where she was a member of the Canadian Youth Delegation. Through her journalism, including a column in the Varsity, and through organizations including the U of T Sustainability Office, May is helping to inform all of us about the environmental and social issues so crucial today.
