Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award 2009 recipient
Jaymie Sampa is president of the Physical and Health Education Athletic Association (PHEAA), an organization with which she has been involved for the last four years. Last summer, she mentored high school students and used physical education as a tool for HIV/AIDS awareness and education during a service placement in Namibia. Jaymie has also been co-captain of the Varsity Blues Thundersquad, the dance team that provides spirited entertainment at Varsity Blues basketball and volleyball home games.
