Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award 2009 recipient
Physics student Sarah Kavassalis is president of the U of T Physics and Astronomy Students Union. Under her leadership, the group organized the 2008 Canadian Undergraduate Physics Conference, the first time in 25 years the University of Toronto has hosted the event. Sarah has also served on the University College Residence Council and has been a first year residence house and Ucrew representative, as well as an off-campus mentor.
