Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award 2009 recipient
Medical student Sophie Petropoulous is a recognized leader both on and off campus. She was central in the organization of an international exchange workshop between U of T and the Karolinska Institute in Sweden. This course, which involved students and faculty members from both institutions, has a high profile with the governments of both countries. Sophie is also past president of the Graduate Students of Physiology.
