2008 Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award Recipients

Since 2004, Yashi Kala Yathindra has served as the Female Sports Representative on the Faculty of Medicine's 0T8 Class Council. In this role, the MD candidate organized sporting events for her classmates and kept them informed of intramural activities. In addition, Yashi volunteered to review applications for entry to medical school, helping determine which students would be granted an interview. Later, she volunteered to be a tour guide to show the aspiring doctors around U of T's campus and hospitals.
