2008 Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award Recipients

During his four years as an MD candidate, Bobby Yanagawa has been diligent about representing student interests. In 2004, Bobby's classmates elected him President of the First Year Class. In his second year, his peers chose him to be President of the U of T Medical Society, which represents the more than 800 students enrolled at the Faculty of Medicine. In this role, Bobby managed an executive with 17 vice-presidents. This school year, Bobby's classmates elected him President of the Fourth Year Class and the valedictorian.
