2008 Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award Recipients

As Co-Coordinator of the Jimma Ethiopia Project with the U of T International Health Program, Jenny Shu reached out to medical students in Jimma by establishing research partnerships with them. On campus, she raises awareness of health issues around the globe. In 2006, the Victoria College undergrad co-founded Bookends, a book discussion club for students. Jenny also offers academic advice and support to second-year students through the Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology Student Mentorship Program.
