2008 Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award Recipients

Shuyin Liang has helped students from around the world make the transition to both Toronto and the university through U of T's International Student Centre (ISC). The Innis College student has also passed on her ISC experiences by training new volunteers and writing a handbook for them. With the University of Toronto Society for Public Health Outreach, the neuroscience specialist is the Founder and Co-President of a group of volunteers who teach biomechanics to Grade 5 students. Veronica founded and is now President of the U of T Amateur Musician Association, which organizes performances of amateur musicians.
