2008 Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award Recipients

Daniel Charland gives back to the aboriginal community whenever he can. The doctor of dental surgery candidate co-founded Pediatric Oral Health Seminars, which offer informal presentations to members of the local native community. Among his outreach initiatives, Daniel has served as Chair of the Dentantics Sponsorship Committee, helping his fellow Faculty of Dentistry students raise more than $15,000 for local children's charities through the annual comedy revue. As well, Daniel cycles with the U of T Varsity Mountain Bike team.
