Jane Macijauskas helped develop the Department of Geography and the Program in Planning's first graduate survey, which provides valuable information on the careers of geography graduates. Along with the University of Toronto Association of Geography Alumni, the 1996 grad initiated lectures and spearheaded GeoTrips, the popular day trips for geographers and planners. After serving as a member of the executive and then Vice-President, Jane was elected President of the association in 2005.
