Arlene Perly Rae served on the Editorial Advisory Committee of idea&s - the Faculty of Arts and Science's semi-annual publication since 2004. A founding committee member, she played a seminal role in the magazine's unique, strong vision and its education mandate. Other involvement has included the Selection Committee for the Lukwik and Estelle Jus Memorial Human Rights Prize and fundraising initiatives for the Faculty of Social Work. Arlene earned a BA at University College in 1971 and an MA in 1972.
