J. Edward Chamberlin is a former principal of New College and professor of English and comparative literature. He regularly volunteers to give lectures for alumni at regional events in Los Angeles, Toronto, Calgary and Victoria. A world-renowned literary scholar, critic and teacher, Edward has spoken on a wide variety of topics – from the impact of horses on human history, to native land claims in British Columbia.
