Join fellow U of T alumni and friends for a discussion on "The Italian Teacher".
Join fellow U of T alumni and friends for an evening with U of T alumnus and author, Tom Rachman (BA VIC 1997), as he discusses his new book The Italian Teacher at Wordfest. The Italian Teacher is a novel about art, family, loyalty and authenticity set in Rome in the 1950's. With his signature humanity and humor, Tom Rachman examines a life lived in a shadow of greatness, cementing his place among his generation's most exciting literary voices.
The event begins at 7:00 pm, and includes a reading, interview, Q&A and book signing. Before the event, U of T alumni and friends are welcome to gather at Provision (located beside the Memorial Park Library) at 5:30 pm to network and enjoy some refreshments. Appetizers and one drink will be provided; attendees are responsible for any additional food and beverages ordered. If you plan to attend the gathering at Provision, please email regional.programs@alumni.utoronto.ca.
Your alumni representative and event organizer, Sally Elliott (BSc VIC 1994), will be there to welcome you. If you have any questions about this event you can email regional.programs@alumni.utoronto.ca.
